Yesterday, I hopped in my incredibly dirty and old Bmw an made my way towards Västerås where the monster project was taking place. Åsa and Arne, who have coordinated this effort greeted me with smiles as did so many of my lovely colleagues. At first glance, I saw Anders from Gamblers (who has a soft spot in my heart), Git Persson, Peter from Date...the list could go on and on. I hung out there a good 5 hours before I went into the studio to do my bit. Lillen was coming later in the day and there were people who had time constraints, so I had absolutely no hurry. When it was my time, I sang the line that had been assigned to me and wailed where they said to wail. I was happy to lend my gospel background and am really anxious to hear the final product!!
It was an honor to be invited and I pray that it raises an enormous amount of money for the peopple of Haiti. They, among others, are so desperately in need of our help.
